Crime Watch Announcement - 12/09/10
Today, our MBV patrol officers, acting on a suspicious person complaint from a resident, questioned two men claiming to represent a Houston based security company. The two individuals had no company identification nor a City of Houston 'solicitor's permit'. Upon questioning and identification checks, Texas DPS public records indicated both men have lengthy arrest histories.
The MBV Crime Watch Committee asks all village residents to not open their doors to strangers and report any suspicious activity to HPD at 713-884-3131. In addition, please fill out a MBV Crime Watch Incident Report which can be found here. All reports are immediately forward to our Crime Watch Chairman and HPD.
As a reminder, MBV is patrolled by our own team of off duty, uniformed HPD officers. Although this incident is of concern, we continue to have one of the lowest crime rates of any village in Kingwood. Your MBV Crime Watch Team is committed to keeping our village safe and residents informed.

Recent Report of Vehicle Burglary
Over the last few months there have been a rash of vehicle burglaries in our neighborhood. Almost all of the thefts have involved parked cars with their doors unlocked. The MBV crime watch committee would like to remind all residents to lock their cars, especially if left on the street, and garage doors.
