Urgent Crime Watch Announcement - 6/01/10
The MBV Crime Watch Team and MBV Board was made aware of the recent re-arrest (6/1/10) of convicted sex offender Jose Gregory Moore, a MBV resident. Due to previously suspicious behavior reported to the MBV Crime Watch Team, the MBV Board issued a criminal trespass warning to Mr. Moore. This warning stated that if Mr. Moore was found on any MBV community association property, including any of our parks, pool and greenbelts, he would be subject to arrest.
The recent alleged event involving Mr. Moore occurred on the greenbelt, just off W. Lake Houston Parkway, in close proximity to Creekwood Middle School.
We encourage all residents to review Mr. Moore's picture and criminal history and forward this email to residents they feel may not receive or have signed up for MBV Board communications. If any resident observes Mr. Moore on MBV community association property they are to encouraged to immediately call the Houston Police Department at (713) 884-3131 and notify our Crime Watch Team through our online reporting form. The MBV Board is continuing to monitor the events surrounding Mr. Moore's felony arrest and pending trial and will notify residents with any new information we feel important to broadcast.
As a reminder, MBV is patrolled by our own team of off duty, uniformed HPD officers. Although this incident is serious, we continue to have one of the lowest crime rates of any village in Kingwood. Your MBV Crime Watch Team is committed to keeping our village safe and residents informed.

Recent Report of Vehicle Burglary
Over the last few months there have been a rash of vehicle burglaries in our neighborhood. Almost all of the thefts have involved parked cars with their doors unlocked. The MBV crime watch committee would like to remind all residents to lock their cars, especially if left on the street, and garage doors.
